Flower Sticks

Flower Sticks are designed to be soft enough to hold and squeeze, so the movements in this activity can really help with improving muscle strength. Flower Sticks can be used from a seated or a standing position and are great for promoting social interaction between partners as you roll the stick between you. Adding control sticks to the movement will make it easier and more comfortable for people who have reduced mobility.

We will show you how you can use the Flower Stick on your own or with a partner. Once you get more confident you can challenge yourself to learn tricks with the Flower Stick which will improve your concentration and hand-eye coordination.
